How to use:
The download center

On the right side of this page is a list of the programs and files that are currently available for you to use on your PC. In order to use them, you must first get them from the Cafe computer to your PC. Then you must follow some instructions to make them usable on your PC. To do this perfom these steps.

1. Create a folder in your "Download" folder. Give the same name as the title of the program or file that you have chosen.
2. Click on the chosen program or file name.
3. A window will appear giving you two choices. Select the option to "Save" this file.
4. Another window will appear where you can select the place for your file to be saved to. Find the folder that you created in step 1.
5. Click the "ok" in this window. The file will then be copied to your new folder.
6. Open "My Computer", then "Downloads" and then your new folder.
7. Double click on "readme". This will bring up the instructions for installing this program or using this file.

WinZip        
WinZip is a program that you will need for any of the other downloads we may send you. If it is not already on your PC. (look for the icon pictured above), then download it now.

WordWeb      
WordWeb is a powerful thesaurus/dictionary that you can use to look up the meanings of words, help you spell words correctly, or help you find a word that is similar to another word.
You can use this program by itself (that is - double click its icon and use it) - or - you can use it with WORD.
When the program is installed, a little icon is placed on the toolbar window of WORD.

Typing Tutor      
Typing Tutor is a program that will help the student develope keyboarding skills.
